Our client is a leading international software services company based in Malta with offices in 6 other countries.

The Role

Due to the expansion of the Security Research Team, the post of Security Researcher has just arisen. This role involves a wide range of tasks, from testing software for vulnerabilities to researching the latest vulnerability attacks and creating checks to detect them.

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Research and help develop new techniques to detect spam and email exploits 
• Create prototypes of exciting new technologies
• Develop and enhance your existing security knowledge and skills set while contributing to market-leading products sold worldwide

Knowledge and Skills Required

• Previous experience with scripting languages (VBS or Python preferred)
• Familiarity with Windows systems, Linux and MAC OS X will be considered an asset, as will knowledge of C++ or C#
• A keen interest in security and a deep-seated willingness to learn
